The database technology used is Microsoft ESE (Extensible Storage Engine). MailEssentials maintains a separate Quarantine database for the filtered Spam emails. The MailEssentials Quarantine Store is accessible from the GFI MailEssentials interface by navigating to GFI MailEssentials > Quarantine.
